  • Focused on the test itself

    The PLC/SCADA system remains responsible for furnace operation, burner control, temperature and pressure regulation, combustion management, alarms, safety interlocks and data acquisition. DataBrain works as a layer focused on the test itself and the information generated during the test.

  • Observations, events and test timeline

    During the test, DataBrain combines measurement data with the test timeline and recorded events. It can support the identification and recording of relevant observations as they occur and associate them with the corresponding test time, measured values and test conditions. Operator comments and observations are organized in a structured and traceable test record.

  • Learning from every test

    Over time, DataBrain can build knowledge from accumulated and validated test data. By comparing a running test with previous test histories, measurement patterns and recorded events, the system can identify similarities, deviations and recurring behaviour. This enriched knowledge base can support the operator with contextual recommendations during test execution, for example by highlighting trends, drawing attention to unusual behaviour or suggesting points that deserve verification.

  • From the test to the report

    DataBrain organizes measurements, events, observations, comments and test information into a structured record that supports review and preparation of the final test report. Operator comments and validated observations can be reviewed, compared and reused instead of remaining isolated in a single report. This reduces repetitive documentation work and improves traceability between what happened during the test and the information presented in the report.

DataBrain is designed as a decision-support layer. Operational decisions, safety actions and final technical interpretation remain under authorized laboratory control.

DataBrain is scoped together with a new STARKOS furnace or a control-system modernization project on an existing furnace.
