Who is responsible

What we collect

This website has no accounts, no advertising and no analytics or tracking cookies. We collect personal data in one situation only: when you send a project request from the contact page. The request form composes an e-mail in your own mail client, so the information reaches us as an ordinary e-mail containing the fields you filled in, typically your name, organization, country, e-mail address and a description of your project.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP address, requested page, timestamp and browser identification, for the operation and security of the site.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We use the information you send to answer your request and, if it leads to a project, to prepare a technical proposal. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and, once a project is under discussion, the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. Server logs are kept on the basis of our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website.

Who sees it

Your request is read by STARKOS staff involved in answering it. We do not sell personal data and do not share it for advertising. Data is processed on our behalf by our e-mail and hosting providers, under contract and only for the purposes above.

How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as the commercial relationship is active and for the period we are required to keep business records afterwards. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes. You may ask us to delete correspondence at any time.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict or object to its processing, and request a copy in a portable format. Write to info@starkos.co and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.

Cookies

starkos.co sets no cookies and embeds no third-party trackers. Fonts and images are served from the site itself.
